One TA group getting pissed at another in TA AD1. This erupted into the entire district spamming racist insults at each other. I laughed at how fast it escalated.

It was started by one guy telling another guy to "stop being a noob" because he was making some ridiculous request while looking for people to join his TA group. This in turn caused the members of that guys group to spam racist insults back. Pretty soon nearly everyone in the entire district joined in.

A lead warrior from (you know who you are) Team Chaos Theory [hent] raged at me in pm for like an hour after I killed him like 3 times in RA by linebacking. The rest of his team had block stances so I decided to blow him up. This of course ended up in him calling me a noob who doesn't know how to play the game because he felt I shouldn't have been attacking him =/. I owned him so hard that I would have been pissed too if I was on the receiving end of that beatdown.

Does everyone remember when sliver dye was worth 600-700g?? I was in pre and i saw someone selling a sliver dye for like 10g, and me trying to be honest pmed the person and told them they could get sooo much more for it, like around 600-700g, and they said something along these lines

"WTF B!TCH LEAVE ME THE HE|| ALONE, YOU F----- NOOB"

And another one I just got reminded of! Dyes!

I had a couple silver dyes for about that price quite a while back (maybe even more), like 3 or 4. I saw someone buying them and they asked at what price I was selling them... I think it was like 1k each (let's assume it was, for mathematical purposes). All I know is that it was cheaper than trader for sure.

Guy: Are you selling them all together or for 1k/each?
Me: 1k each.
Guy: OMFG! NOOB! I'm not buying them!
Me: O_o;;... why, I'm offering lower than trader...
Guy: I don't care! I'm not buying them from another player!
Me: *to myself* WTF is that guy talking about.... *to him* You realize you'll actually save money, and benefit someone else at the same time?
Guy: I DON'T CARE! I'd rather give my money to the merchant than to someone else!!!
Me: Whatever...

... I still don't get it today...

Kusandaa, just out of curiosity, how does the subject of you being gay come up while in a group? I'm not trying to say you should hide it of course, I'd just find it more prudent to keep stuff like that under wraps in a PUG. It's like if I were to start talking politics in every PUG; I know that eventually someone's going to react negatively. That's probably a bad comparison, but it's the best I can think of at 3am.

i get raged alot in AB because i cripple people, move away from them, and shoot them from afar. i hate AB :| all i do is cripshot and gank people.

Ah i remember the Kaineng City run. There was some guy who did the run for 500g once and I spammed "The road to Kaineng has no mobs and can be done by anyone." Of course the usual STFU came up but I didn't care. If i can do it with a lvl 3 paragon (i think it was) then anyone can. The guy then just left to another district and i tailed him hehe. He's actually still on my ignore list

I've seen many hilarious rants, but only got a screenshot of one of them. It was while playing FA, on the Kurzick side. One time, we were doing very badly and seemed to be on the verge of defeat fairly early on, and a paragon on our team totally flipped. He starts raging at the monk and rits for not healing good enough. I was on my rit at the time but wasn't set up for healing, except for a few skills I normally used as self heals... but I was trying my best to keep gunther alive whenever the monk died. After many very close calls and this paragon's nonstop ranting about how we all suck... we won.

The screenshot itself sucks though. The writing's tiny because I was playing on a very small window (computer was running badly). It's been mangled in Paint a few times (I don't have any other programs). And I have the chat filter on because it amuses me for some odd reason.

hehe i can just imagine what the kurz were saying in thier team chat on the day i sat under the bridge bonding every luxon that passed above me while they battled for the rez shrine. took them till the end of the game to finaly send more than one person to gank me down there.

also in ab i've had people rage at me for trapping.. i kinda trapped the ssnot out of one of the portals and then had a sin step on all the traps, me dshot his heal and then him die from degen. then 30 seconds later, i did the same thing to him again. he got mad.

My brother wanted a run to Droks a while back and asked me if I would run him. I hadn't ran in ages and didn't want to try and fail several times so I decided to pay 2k for a runner too so I could "see how a pro did it" these days. Wow. We got into a group of "dual wammos"...yes I know, alarm bells were ringing. So we set off. I stuck on my running build anyway (Dervish/Assassin) and headed off with them. The Dual Wammos died shortly after the tunnel with the Avicara in.

While they were lying there dead they decided to turn Caps Lock on the make themselves sound scarier... "OMFG NUB DERVISH Y U RUN??" "OMFG DERVISH U GOT US KILLED" "OMFG NUB DERVISH RUNNER!!". My brother politely, and calmly pointed out to them that if I was such a "nub", why did I manage to get almost all the way down Lornar's Pass when they failed at almost the start.

Just before I went through the portal the two runners ragequit. I took my brother and the remaining runnees down to Droks for free.

Moral of the Story? Wammos are "Pro".

I usually don't get involved in rants because general chat is off almost all the time :X

But I remember this one time, in RA. Well I was trying out my initial Backbreaker build, and I guess people (especially casters) don't like their 4 seconds on the ground. Because it seems that this one guy in RA HATED ME, I was insulted with a massive array of insults ranging from religious to racist to stuff in foreign languages. And all because this one fellow claimed I was a "noob war" for using Backbreaker because "its not meant for pvp". After the RA match (and after I had laid him out flat, easily mind you), we went on to the next one. I get a PM from (guess who) the same fellow who I had tried to ignore the entire time he was ranting at me. Claiming I sucked and that "primeval is for nubs" and that I "have no life" because I have a destroyer weapon...

However the above story is not as bad as the one that happened much earlier than that. I was playing on my PvP Ritualist, and have a good time. The group was good, everyone was coordinated and knew what they were doing. Then, the dreaded kill count RA match, we lost HORRIBLY. Some person, I don't remember who exactly, in party chat told me that I "sucked" and "need to uninstall." I tell him it's only a game and he needs to calm down. A few seconds later he tells me that "you need to **** my ****". I put him on ignore and thought no more of him. I went on and rejoined RA, in the middle of this match I get a PM from someone who's name I don't recognize, and I did not think it would be the same person. I ask "Yes, sure what do you need?". He replies almost instantly "So are ya ****ing my **** yet?!" I laughed for a good minute... Then reported him. Have yet to see/hear from him on either of his accounts.

I was in RA yesterday on my Warrior, testing my scythe build. I had a team of melee, no ranged, no casters. We were up against a team of casters. Well, we got destroyed and one of my A/P teammates feels the need to get pissy.

He said something along the lines of...

"Holy shit
"Stupid spellcasters
"So worthless

Not the best rant, but it was pretty damn stupid.

Yesterday in LA there was a...discussion on the merits of LaZy. Some guy who'd just got into LaZy(he changed guilds sometime in the middle of the argument) started talking crap to people after I mentioned LaZy in a discussion about quantity vs. quality. Anyway, it went on for nearly an hour and the leader of LaZy was charged with being an eBayer AND a pedophile.

It was too funny.

Funniest to me was the ranger that called me a "noob thumbsucker" after I accused him of leeching in our mission.

He never moved off the spawn portal except to run to the first mob and die after we'd moved on yet he continually criticized our performances. I told him off and said at least we were fighting our way thu which was more than he was doing.

I just thought it was hilarious that "thumbsucker" was the worst insult for me that he could come up with. Must have been 8 years old.

Same here, that's why I almost always bring cleanup. It is very satisfying to send them off with a derogatory statement after killing them, seconds before their corpses are shipped off the map.
